🚀 The Vision: Building the Operating System for Product Creation

Since 2013, THE/STUDIO has been building the definitive operating system for product creation. We are combining modern SaaS technology with custom manufacturing to make producing physical goods as seamless, fast, and scalable as launching software.

We operate two core platforms: Customize Now (our best-in-class, on-demand manufacturing platform) and Source Anything (our new SaaS product that enables customers to seamlessly work with global factories beyond our own network).

We are a profitable, previously Silicon Valley-backed, fully remote company, and we are not just looking to improve manufacturing, we are looking for a visionary operator to help us truly revolutionize the global supply chain.

💻 The Role

We are looking for a junior, execution-focused Influencer Marketing & UGC Coordinator to own and manage our creator collaboration pipeline.

Functioning similarly to a high-performing BDR/SDR role, this position is all about high-volume creator outreach, research, consistent follow-ups, and end-to-end process management. If you live and breathe creator culture, understand what makes short-form video go viral, and love building structured pipelines, this is the perfect role for you to make an immediate impact at THE/STUDIO.

Why This Role Is Exciting:
  • Direct Access to Leadership: You will have the opportunity to work directly with our CEO and executive team, giving you high visibility, direct mentorship, and a seat at the table.

  • Product & Strategic Influence: We operate with flat hierarchies. Your daily insights from the ground level will directly shape our product roadmap, workflows, and company strategy.

  • Rapid Scale & Career Trajectory: We are growing rapidly. Joining us right now means high autonomy, minimal red tape, and massive room for personal and professional acceleration.

🎯 What You’ll Do
  • Creator Discovery & Vetting: Find relevant creators across Instagram and TikTok using native platforms and influencer discovery tools. Evaluate creators beyond surface-level follower counts: focusing on average views, engagement quality, audience relevance, content consistency, brand fit, and production value.

  • Outreach & Pipeline Management: Run personalized outreach and follow-up sequences based on creator profiles and priority tiers. Keep our pipeline organized by updating creator records, communications, and next steps in our CRM/systems.

  • End-to-End Campaign Coordination: Shepherd collaborations from initial contact through briefing, product development, content approval, and final publication.

  • Creator Enablement: Ensure creators clearly understand creative briefs, deadlines, required tags, promo codes, and deliverable specs. Follow up proactively to keep campaigns on schedule and prevent bottlenecks.

  • Tracking & Reporting: Track outreach volume, response rates, confirmed partnerships, published posts, and overall content performance. Flag any quality, communication, or timeline issues early.

💡 The Profile We’re Looking For (Our Core Pillars)

Our CEO defines our top performers by three distinct traits. If this describes how you operate, you will thrive here:

  1. Raw Intelligence & Problem-Solving: High processing power, business acumen, and logical reasoning. You can think on your feet, connect complex ideas, and break down ambiguous problems quickly.

  2. "Give a Shit" Energy (Extreme Ownership): You take 100% accountability for your domain and outcomes. You don't make excuses or blame external factors. You look inward, find solutions, and push across the finish line.

  3. Rapid Adaptation & Radical Candor: You embrace blunt, constructive feedback and pivot instantly without ego. You excel in a fast-moving environment where you need to act with urgency without waiting for hand-holding.

Requirements:
  • Socially Savvy & Trend-Obsessed: Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, short-form video trends, and current creator culture.

  • Sharp Content Instincts: Ability to evaluate creator quality beyond follower count, recognizing why specific content performs well or falls flat based on storytelling, engagement, and audience alignment.

  • Process-Driven & Persistent: Highly organized, proactive, and disciplined enough to manage a high-volume, repetitive outreach pipeline with minimal supervision.

  • Strong Communication: Excellent written English with a natural, professional tone when communicating with creators.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with spreadsheets, CRM-style systems, influencer databases, and adapting quickly to new digital tools.

  • Background: Previous experience in influencer marketing, UGC, social media, PR, brand partnerships, or outbound sales is a plus, but ambitious entry-level candidates are strongly encouraged to apply!

Core Success Metrics (KPIs)
  • Weekly volume of qualified creators sourced.

  • Personalized outreach and follow-up completion rates.

  • Creator response and conversion rates.

  • Total confirmed collaborations and on-time delivery rate.

  • Overall quality and view performance of published content.

💰 Compensation & Terms
  • Flexible & Competitive: We offer competitive, outcome-driven compensation packages tailored to the candidate's level of impact. For this role, we will to the market rate for a junior-level range of a similar role (depending on location).

  • Engagement Type: Full-time, exclusive independent contractor role.

🔎 Our Hiring Process
  1. Submit Application: IMPORTANT! Please submit your resume/CV in English

  2. Initial Screen: Brief intro chat to evaluate mutual fit, communications, and expectations.

  3. Hiring Manager / Team Interview: Deep dive into your hard skills, past track record, and problem-solving approach.

  4. Assessment / Case Study: (If applicable for the role) Practical demonstration of your capabilities.

  5. Final Executive Interview: Conversation with key team members.

  6. Reference Checks: Verification of past performance with former leaders and CEOs.

Note that every role is different, so the process may vary depending on the requirements of the role. Please note that due to the volume of applications we receive, we may not be able to provide feedback to all applications.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
