Dreamscape Learn, a pioneer in the realm of immersive virtual reality learning design, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Jr. Artist to assist in the creation of story-driven VR experiences in the world of science and education. To be successful, the Jr. Artist must be knowledgeable in using industry-standard software tools.

You are a strong generalist, willing to take on a variety of tasks, both independently and in collaboration with other artists. The Artist will work closely with the project leads and the Art Director.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of AAA quality environments and assets
  • Follow defined and established art standards/ systems while ensuring all creative material are consistent
  • Maintain a close working relationship with your direct manager, producers, leads, directors and other teams to push project quality
  • Liaise with lead artists and developers regarding the style and feel of the project
  • Sketching concept designs and key elements of the visual style
  • Building 3D models of all assets in line with the technical limits of the engine
  • Applying textures to all visual elements
  • Adding lighting and shading effects to all elements, ensuring consistency in color, intensity and lighting levels
  • Adhering to the production schedule
  • Maintain asset folder structure and organization in unit
  • Designing with the user experience in mind


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in digital art, Game Art & Design or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of industry experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of game design concepts.
  • Extensive experience using 3D modeling software.
  • Knowledge of game engine.
  • Understanding of the necessary software tools.
  • Highly creative and passion in visual effects
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional work ethic and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
