Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis has an immediate opening for a high-energy, culturally-obsessed Junior Account Executive to join our Los Angeles team. This role is designed for a professional with 2–3 years of experience who is ready to sharpen their expertise in personal representation—from managing high-stakes talent logistics to owning workstreams on a red carpet.
You are a creative thinker who thrives in high-pressure environments and understands that working with talent requires a unique blend of tenacity, discretion, and meticulous organization. If you have a solid foundation in entertainment PR and a desire to build your own arsenal of media relationships, this is your next challenge.
The Role:
- Talent Logistics & Support: Assist in coordinating day-to-day client requests, including complex schedules, glam/grooming coordination, and providing essential on-site staffing support for appearances and press moments.
- Integrated Execution: Support team leads in drafting and executing 360-degree communications strategies. You’ll assist in writing pitches, press releases, and briefing notes that reflect the talent’s unique voice.
- Media Infrastructure & Growth: Maintain meticulous media lists and begin developing your own relationships with journalists and creators. You’ll support the vetting and credentialing process for major events and red carpets.
- Trend & News Intelligence: Act as the team’s radar. Monitor news cycles for daily breaks and pop-culture trends, ensuring clients are regularly serviced with relevant updates and competitor news.
- Administrative Excellence: Coordinate the backend across 4–6 accounts. You will own the scheduling, drafting, and maintenance of agendas and activity reports to keep the team and client on track.
- Emotional EQ: You possess high emotional intelligence and situational awareness. You know how to maintain a calm, professional demeanor around high-profile talent and can read the room to anticipate needs before they arise.
- The Relationship Standard: You recognize that we are a people business. You lead by example in how you treat your co-workers, clients, and the media—prioritizing trust and confidentiality above all else.
Who You Are:
- Talent-Focused : 2–3 years of PR experience, with at least 1 year specifically focused on talent management (at a PR firm, talent agency, or management firm).
- Meticulously Organized: You have a tenacious follow-through and an eagle eye for detail. You can coordinate complex logistics on the backend without letting a single task slip.
- A Strong Writer: You are fast, persuasive, and adaptable, capable of drafting everything from a media alert to a sensitive client memo.
- A Resourceful Problem-Solver: You are curious, entrepreneurial, and have a "nothing is impossible" attitude when it comes to meeting client deadlines.
- An Integrated Thinker: You are eager to work within our integrated model, collaborating across social, creative, and brand teams to tell a cohesive story for our clients.
- Driven to Over-Deliver: You don’t just meet expectations; you constantly strive for excellence and take genuine pride in the success of your team.
