We’re looking for a Jr. Social Media Manager to join our growing Platform team and help us bring A+ strategy and content to life for major studio clients. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who’s obsessed with social media, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about entertainment.

  • Assist with building out content calendars and scheduling/posting content across platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, etc.)
  • Draft and edit social copy, adjusting voice and tone to match each title and platform
  • Participate in brainstorms and contribute fresh ideas for content series, engagement tactics, and platform-specific approaches
  • Help track social trends, platform updates, and fan behavior to inform campaign pivots and creative development
  • Engage with fans and communities through daily community management and live-tweeting moments
  • Assist with pulling data for performance recaps and weekly reports
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with account managers, creatives, and motion designers to ensure deliverables are on time and on brand

Who You Are

  • A digital native who lives and breathes social
  • Passionate about film, TV, and pop culture
  • A strong writer who understands how to speak in different brand voices
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple campaigns at once
  • A self-starter who asks questions, takes initiative, and learns fast
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a client-service environment where priorities can shift quickly

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or agency environments (internships count!)
  • Familiarity with platform best practices and content formats across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube
  • Basic experience with social scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, Dash Hudson, Later, etc.)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or Canva is a plus
  • Entertainment or fan-facing campaign experience is a bonus, especially in film/TV
  • Interest in awards marketing and FYC content is a plus but not required

Availability

  • Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm PT
  • Occasional evening, weekend, or holiday support for live moments or premieres (rotating schedule)
  • Opportunity for remote work
Why Join Us?
  • Opportunity to grow within a collaborative, creative team
  • Exposure to high-profile clients and multifaceted campaigns
  • Fast-paced environment with hands-on learning

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
