About the Role

We're looking for a Jr. Recruiter / Recruiting Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition team. This is a hybrid role: you'll be the operational backbone of our recruiting process- driving scheduling, candidate experience, and ATS hygiene- while also owning full-cycle recruiting for our Sales Development Representative (SDR) organization. It's a great opportunity for someone early in their recruiting career who wants hands-on coordination experience and a real shot at running their own requisitions.

Responsibilities

Recruiting Coordination

  • Own end-to-end interview scheduling across multiple time zones, calendars, and interview panels
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring clear, timely, and warm communication at every stage
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline hygiene in our ATS (Greenhouse)
  • Support job requisition postings, job board management, and interview logistics
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to keep pipelines moving and flag bottlenecks early
  • Help identify and improve recruiting processes and candidate experience touchpoints

SDR Recruiting Ownership

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for our Sales Development Representative pipeline: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support
  • Partner directly with Sales leadership to understand hiring needs, role scope, and team goals
  • Build and manage a healthy, consistent pipeline of SDR candidates through sourcing, referrals, and inbound applications
  • Conduct initial screens to assess candidate fit against role requirements
  • Track and report on SDR funnel metrics (time-to-fill, conversion rates, source effectiveness)
  • Deliver a high-touch, consistent candidate experience for every SDR applicant

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience
    • 1–2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, recruiting, HR, or a related administrative/operations role
    • Some exposure to full-cycle recruiting or a strong desire to grow into it
    • Proficiency with Greenhouse (our ATS) required; you'll use it daily for scheduling, pipeline management, and reporting
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities without dropping the ball
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills- you make candidates feel valued at every touchpoint
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
    • A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in Sales/GTM hiring
  • How you show up
    • Time-to-schedule: interviews consistently scheduled within 2 business days of request
    • SDR time-to-fill within or below target benchmarks
    • Strong candidate experience feedback
    • Healthy, consistent SDR pipeline coverage (no reqs sitting without active candidate flow)
    • Low scheduling error/reschedule rate and clean, up-to-date ATS data
    • Positive feedback from hiring managers and Sales leadership on responsiveness and pipeline quality

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
