The Jr. Marketing Project Manager supports event logistics, reporting, content management, budget oversight, and general administrative tasks to optimize team performance and engagement.
Position: Jr, Project Manager - Marketing
Location: 100% Remote (San Francisco area preferred)
Duration: 7 month contract with extensions
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing (agency or inhouse)
- Experience in marketing and project management, preferably in content-driven or event-related roles.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Events exposure.
- Marketing project management.
Pluses:
- Salesforce experience - working at or for salesforce
- Background in tech industry
- Google analytics or YouTube analytics
- Proficiency with Slack
Day-to-Day Details:
- Event Support: By assisting with logistics for major events like Dreamforce and hackathons, the role ensures these events run smoothly and effectively, which is vital for team success and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generating and maintaining reports helps the team track progress, measure success, and make data-driven decisions.
- Content Management: Managing the YouTube channel and the Admin Digest newsletter ensures that the team's content reaches its audience effectively, maintaining engagement and community support.
- Budget & Vendor Management: Overseeing budgets and vendor relationships helps keep financials in check and ensures that resources are used efficiently.
- General Administrative Support: Handling various administrative tasks keeps the team organized and allows other team members to focus on their core responsibilities.
- Marketing Support: Assisting with podcast promotion and potentially content creation helps amplify the team's efforts and reach a wider audience.
