LA is seeking a talented Junior Finisher to join our newly formed Art Department within our Print division. This role is ideal for an emerging creative with a passion for precision, polish, and visual storytelling. You'll assist in executing high-resolution imaging and key art finishing tasks while developing your skills in retouching, compositing, and file optimization under the guidance of experienced finishers.

What You'll Bring:

  • 1–3 years of experience in entertainment advertising, finishing, illustration, or digital imaging (freelance experience welcome).
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and a basic understanding of layer-based workflows.
  • A foundational portfolio that shows promise in retouching, compositing, or illustration.
  • High attention to detail and a willingness to learn advanced techniques.
  • Receptiveness to feedback and direction in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and curiosity for growing within the Finishing discipline.
  • Familiarity with Illustrator, InDesign, AI imaging tools (MidJourney, Adobe Firefly, etc.) or 3D programs (Cinema4D or other) is a plus.
  • Commitment to maintaining the strictest security and confidentiality standards.

The Pay:

The hourly compensation range for this position is $30–$35/hr. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, location, prior experience, and education.

Work is remote, with the option to work onsite in our DTLA office.

  • Visual acuity: Exceptional attention to visual detail is essential for this role. The ability to distinguish color values, saturation, brightness, and contrast is critical to ensure visual consistency, brand accuracy, and polish across all finishing work.
  • Technology use: Regular use of design software (Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop) and project management tools.
  • Multitasking: Managing multiple finishing projects and deadlines with efficiency and focus.
