What does a successful Relationship Manager do at Fiserv?

As a Relationship Manager at Fiserv, you will support our growing Payment Facilitation (PayFac) and Marketplace portfolio. You will be the primary point of contact for a set of strategic Platform clients, ensuring strong engagement, performance growth, and alignment between client needs and Fiserv’s capabilities.

You will work closely with high-growth platforms—ranging from ISVs to orchestration gateways and other PSPs—to deepen relationships, accelerate payment volume, and unlock new use cases by leveraging Fiserv’s suite.

You will do so by deeply understanding our client’s business, needs and aligning Fiserv’s capabilities to support their roadmap.

Serving as the primary contact and lead for the client’s executive and/ or senior level leaders, you will own the PAN Fiserv strategic relationship, work with internal teams to ensure operational challenges are resolved swiftly and identify opportunities to expand the partnership value. 

What you will do:

  • Own and manage relationships with a portfolio of PayFac clients pan Fiserv
  • Drive client success and revenue growth through proactive engagement and strategic planning
  • Develop and implement account plans that drive mutual incremental  revenue through creation of profitable deal constructs and innovative partnerships
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, deeply understanding each client’s business model, growth goals, and technical infrastructure
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, compliance, and onboarding teams to resolve issues, implement new features, and remove friction
  • Track account health, manage executive alignment, and lead QBRs and ongoing strategy sessions
  • Stay informed on industry trends, PayFac regulatory changes, and evolving FinTech ecosystems
  • Travel up to 60% to meet clients face-to-face and represent Fiserv at industry events

What you will need to have:

  • 6+ years of Enterprise Relationship Management experience and implementing cross-functional strategies to drive revenue growth with large clients. Preference in the experience in payments, FinTech, SaaS, or financial services   and implementing cross-functional strategies to drive revenue growth with large clients
  • Deep curiosity and business acumen—able to dissect client models and identify product fit
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, including comfort engaging with senior-level stakeholders, sales driven
  • Familiarity with PayFac, embedded payments, ISVs, and gateway technologies a strong plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex accounts and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Self-starter with a client-first mindset and a bias toward execution
  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of work, education, and military experience

What would be great to have:

  • Additional special training in Payment Facilitation and knowledge of Fiserv systems is helpful, including Salesforce or similar eCRM tool
  • Experience in sales and negotiating techniques - consultative selling skills with a consistent track record to negotiate, close deals and generate results in a timely manner and participation with leading industry trade groups (FMI, MAG, NGA) and, (NACS, NPECA)
  • MBA

Salary Range

$119,000.00 - $253,300.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
