CI&T is looking for a Senior Sales Executive  to drive new business within the Life Sciences sector as part of our North America operations. This is a quota-carrying role for a seller who pairs a strong track record of closing complex deals with a consultative, solutions-first approach based on services.

You will identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities for digital services and solutions across pharma, biotech, and medtech. Beyond hunting and closing, you will work shoulder to shoulder with Design, Engineering, and Delivery teams to uncover deep client needs and translate them into structured, compelling proposals that win.

What You Will Do:

Pipeline Generation & Sales Execution

- Own and exceed a new business quota for the Life Sciences segment
- Prospect for qualified leads (organic and CI&T sourced), build a pipeline of well-qualified opportunities, and drive the end-to-end sales process from first conversation to signed contract
- Develop and lead the sales strategy on specific opportunities, including deal qualification, competitive positioning, and close plans
- Conduct needs-based discovery assessments and present insights that turn prospect conversations into material opportunities
- Negotiate and close contracts, coordinating with legal to ensure agreements are executed as intended
- Track and report pipeline status, proposal components, and forecast with discipline in our CRM

Consultative Solutioning & Proposal Development

- Use a consultative approach to uncover client pain points and translate complex business wants and needs into viable, structured solution visions
- Lead high-level client meetings and facilitate interactive workshop sessions with prospect stakeholders
- Coordinate and lead sales engineering and the appropriate Growth Unit to develop mutually beneficial proposals, SOWs, and commercial models
- Serve as the bridge between the client and internal teams (Design, Engineering, Delivery), coaching them on industry context so proposals are technically sound and commercially successful

Market Development & Thought Leadership

- Review target accounts for buying signals, identify opportunities, and develop strategic industry partnerships to grow the business
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers across the Life Sciences market
- Work closely with marketing and vertical leadership to develop and execute prospect communication plans and GTM strategies tailored to Life Sciences
- Contribute to thought leadership on industry-relevant topics to elevate CI&T's positioning in the market
- Represent CI&T at industry events, trade shows, and conferences

What You Bring:

- 7-10 years of sales experience within a professional services or consulting organization, with a track record of meeting and exceeding quota
- 5+ years of experience within Life Sciences, including areas such as digital strategy, product management, technology services, HCP digital engagement, or patient digital engagement solutions
- Strong grasp of B2B solutions and services sales, and the role business development plays in lead generation and qualification
- Deep understanding of the Life Sciences regulatory environment, including GxP and HIPAA
- Familiarity with modern technology trends in the sector, including the application of AI/GenAI in Life Sciences
- Strong communication and presentation skills, engaging stakeholders from practitioners to the C-suite
- Strategic thinker with the ability to craft creative solutions in the face of opposition
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work autonomously while collaborating seamlessly with sales, engineering, and design stakeholders
- Willingness to master our CRM and maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene
- Ability to travel up to 25% for client workshops, partner meetings, and key internal events

Bonus Points

- Experience at a Global System Integrator (GSI) or a digital transformation consultancy similar to CI&T
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR/HL7) and digital engagement trends across the broader HLS landscape

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
