Job Position: Java - Scala Architect
Job Location: San Diego, CA
Fulltime
Primary Skills:
6+ years’ experience programming in Java and one or more of the following Scala, Clojure and Python
2+ years experience with Apache Spark and one/two or more related technologies like Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, MLlib or GraphX
2+ years experience in installing, tuning and operating Apache Spark and one/two or more related technologies like Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, MLlib or GraphX
2+ years experience in NoSQL systems like Hbase, Cassandra, Riak, Redis or Couchbase Experience in Interactive command line interface (in Scala or Python)
Nice to Have:
Experience on one or more Hadoop distributions such as Cloudera, HortonWorks is a plus
Experience developing, implementing, and refining data engineering solutions for large volumes of data
Exposure to REST Web Services is a plus Exposure to building data pipelines is a plus
Exposure to graph processing or queue’s like Kafka or rabbitmq is a plus
