BlackStone eIT is on the lookout for a talented Java Developer to join our growing team. As a Java Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of innovative software solutions. This role requires a robust understanding of Java programming and a passion for delivering high-quality applications. You will work alongside other developers and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of our software projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code while following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance the development process.
- Assist in database design and management.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
- Extensive experience in creating microservices, including those for payments, refunds, reconciliation, and workflow services.
- Knowledgeable in MongoDB, Kafka, and API integration (REST/SOAP).
- Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies (such as Docker and Kubernetes).
- Understanding of Software AG WebMethods API Gateway and asynchronous communication.
- Practical experience in financial services or payment solutions.
- Skilled in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong abilities in debugging, problem-solving, and analysis.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
