Salary Range: $120,000 – $135,000 

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote (Travel to Onsite as Required) 

Location: Remote – U.S. Based (Travel to Washington Metropolitan Area as needed)

Position Overview 

Viderity is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT System Administrator with a strong focus on Data Analytics to support enterprise IT systems, database management, and data-driven decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in advanced data analysis methodologies, data visualization, and database management in support of federal or large-scale data-driven projects. This is a remote position with occasional travel required to client or project sites in the Washington Metropolitan Area. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Administer, manage, and optimize database systems and cloud environments.
  • Perform advanced data analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms to support organizational decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand data requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or advanced Excel.
  • Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform data mining and pattern recognition to identify key business insights.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and integrity in line with federal IT standards.
  • Maintain system documentation, data dictionaries, and process workflows.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system administration for data-driven IT environments.

Required Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, system administration, or related IT roles.
  • Expertise in advanced data analytics methodologies, including predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
  • Proficient in programming languages for data analysis, such as Python and/or R.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or advanced Excel).
  • Deep understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of IT operations, system administration, and data security best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance (if required).
  • Ability to travel to client or project sites when required.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting federal government IT environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data analytics platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline management.
  • Experience with ITIL processes and service delivery frameworks.
  • Experience working in a government contracting environment.
