Scope of Role

Reporting to our IT Service Delivery Manager, as an IT Support Specialist your primary role will be to support the Systems Administrator with a variety of tasks from Hardware/Software setup & supporting the IT team by providing essential support services to the wider company.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will:
  • Setup laptops for new users (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Utilising the IT Service Desk tool to interact with employees experiencing first level IT support issues 
  • Learn about system administration across a number of business systems such as Office 365, JIRA, Slack and Teams Phone
  • Develop excellent customer service skills
Requirements
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • A strong work ethic and interpersonal astuteness
  • The ability to work pragmatically
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Pre-existing knowledge of using a Service Desk tool is advantageous
  • ITIL knowledge is useful
