IT SPECIALIST - REMOTE 
The ideal candidate demonstrates a composed and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations and possesses the ability to effectively multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A strong passion for problem-solving and an innate ability to think creatively and strategically are essential. The candidate must excel at prioritizing and managing incoming requests from multiple channels, including email, telephone, helpdesk systems, and in-person interactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This role will support, maintain, and manage software systems, projects and user support.
  • Support users with troubleshooting hardware, software, permissions, peripherals, and more
  • Assist senior staff members to support the server and network environment
  • Establish and maintain relationships with users throughout the organization
  • Investigate issues thoroughly before escalating to a senior staff member
  • Assist in all IT related projects and initiatives,that includes but not limited to:  cybersecurity assessments; access control audits; system evaluations and implementations; office openings and relocations; etc.
  • Create/maintain clear and concise documentation around tasks, internal processes, user support resolution, and general knowledge base content


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years experience troubleshooting Windows and Apple laptops, desktops, servers, and mobile devices
  • High availability and delivery on tasks and projects on-time with high quality work
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management
  • Excellent problem solving stills, result oriented, and highly productive
  • Detail oriented, including follow-up on outstanding items in a timely manner
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite (JIRA Software, Service Management, Confluence), Microsoft 365, Zoom, Neat Bar & Pad, etc.
  • Ability to perform ancillary duties associated with departmental responsibilities
  • Experience resolving individual IT issues, in a fast paced environment a plus
