Solutions Architect – End User & Infrastructure Platforms
Job Summary:The Solutions Architect is a strategic individual contributor responsible for designing, governing, and advising on enterprise architecture across communications platforms, cloud infrastructure, endpoint management, and network technologies. This role influences cross-functional teams and ensures technical solutions align with business goals, security standards, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and evolution of architecture standards across platforms including Zoom, Slack, Box, AWS, Azure, Windows/macOS endpoints, and enterprise networks (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Palo Alto).
- Define component stacks, integration dependencies, and data flows for technical and business stakeholders.
- Govern platform usage and ensure alignment with security, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application development, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions.
- Influence platform roadmaps and investment decisions through technical leadership and strategic insight.
- Partner with domain architects to align solutions with enterprise-wide technology direction.
- Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment.
- Mentor peers and contribute to the solutions architect community by sharing best practices and architectural guidance.
- Identify opportunities for automation, AI, simplification, and modernization across the technology stack.
- Support Agile delivery teams by aligning architectural decisions with iterative development practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, infrastructure engineering, or platform governance.
- Experience designing and implementing distributed applications and enterprise platforms.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), endpoint management (Intune, JAMF, etc.), and enterprise networking.
- Proven ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with collaboration platforms (Zoom, Slack, Box) and their enterprise administration.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and integration patterns.
- Understanding of Agile principles and experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, CIS).
