Job Description

The mobile software developer is a mobile full stack software engineer with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences using React, Ionic, Node.js, and AWS. As a self-starter with a curious mind, you will design, develop, and maintain robust web and mobile applications. The role includes writing efficient code, managing databases, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also investigate and resolve bugs, ensuring our applications are intuitive and engaging.

  • Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Implement complex business logic and workflows to ensure robust and efficient application functionality.
  • Manage relational databases with care, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Use infrastructure as code to define and maintain our cloud resources efficiently.
  • Work with both internal and external team members.
  • Continuously optimize code for performance, responsiveness, and quality.
  • Identify and fix bugs and issues in the application.
  • Participate in all agile ceremonies including grooming, planning, stand up, review, and retrospective.
  • Update and maintain software code documentation to ensure clarity and continuity.
  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs to enable communication between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React and Ionic.
  • Develop backend services using Node.js and deploy them on AWS using containerization tools.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Mobile Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in React & Ionic.
  • Proficiency with Node.js & Typescript.
  • Proficiency in relational database management (PostgreSQL).
  • Comfortable with Git.
  • Experience with agile development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mobile software development.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Knowledge of containerized applications (Docker).
  • Experience with DataDog.
  • Demonstrated ambition and a proactive attitude towards learning and professional growth.
  • Hands-on experience with IAC (Terraform).
  • Experience with AWS services (ECS, S3, RDS) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with serverless architecture, and knowledge of microservices.

Salary Range

Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
