People are at the heart of our success. Our culture encourages collaboration, transparency, and accountability in order to generate value and achieve sustainable results. Being part of the team means committing to an environment where everyone’s impact truly matters.

At Agropur, each role aims to generate value and have a tangible impact on collective performance.

The IT Senior Functional Analyst - ePPDS is responsible for leading the blueprinting, functional design, system configuration, and deployment of all solutions related to Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) and Embedded PP/DS (ePPDS) for Global operations. This role acts as the primary subject matter expert, guiding plant stakeholders, supply chain leaders, and development teams through standard SAP-aligned solutions. The position is responsible for facilitating workshops to gather complex manufacturing requirements and translating them into scalable, functional designs and technical specifications. The incumbent will define the ePPDS solution architecture, own the roadmap for scheduling transformations, mitigate gaps via custom enhancements, and ensure seamless delivery by managing software vendors and system integration partners. The position involves leading medium to large-scale implementation streams, managing deliverables, driving steering committee communications, and spearheading organizational change management across the plant user community. This is a hybrid project-and-operations role: the incumbent delivers the ePPDS implementation while progressively assuming “run-the-business” support responsibilities in parallel, transitioning to full-time ongoing operational support, system stability, and continuous improvement of the ePPDS landscape once the project is completed.

Where you will drive value:

Consulting and Business Needs Analysis:

  • Lead advisory and discovery workshops with business teams, client partners, and manufacturing executives to define system goals and map out "to-be" process models.

  • Challenge legacy processes to ensure alignment with standard SAP S/4HANA ePPDS capabilities and strategic business objectives.

Functional Solution Design and Configuration:

  • Own the hands-on configuration of SAP S/4HANA ePPDS system settings, including Detailed Scheduling (DS) Board profiles, Alert Profiles, Setup Matrix optimization, Block Planning, and Product Heuristics.

  • Design integration touchpoints between ePPDS, core Manufacturing execution (PP/PP-PI), Materials Management (MM), and Warehouse Management (EWM).

  • Architect performance logic optimizations within liveCache and manage Core Interface (CIF) master data replication frameworks.

Testing and Quality Assurance Validation:

Financial Advisory and Delivery Coordination:

  • Support business teams in structuring cost-benefit analyses, calculating project ROI, and sizing business transformation scopes.

  • Act as the functional lead managing third-party implementation partners, software vendors, and offshore delivery units to guarantee zero-rework deployments.

Run-the-Business (Operational Support) Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing L2/L3 production support for the ePPDS / PP-DS solution, resolving incidents, problems, and service requests within agreed service-level agreements (SLAs).

  • Monitor daily planning runs, background jobs, CIF integration models, and liveCache / PP-DS queues; proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve failures to safeguard system stability.

  • Own master-data integrity and governance for scheduling-relevant objects (resources / work centers, PDS / PPMs, setup matrices, and product master).

  • Manage minor enhancements, configuration changes, and continuous improvements through the standard change-management process, including impact assessment and regression testing.

  • Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions to reduce ticket volume and improve planner productivity.

  • Coordinate with the managed-services / support partner to ensure adequate support of existing strategic and legacy systems, and plan and validate regression testing for SAP releases, patches, and upgrades affecting the ePPDS landscape.

  • Maintain support documentation and knowledge-base articles, provide ongoing end-user support and adoption coaching, and report on system stability, ticket trends, and SLA adherence to IT leadership.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.

  • In-depth knowledge of standard ERP logistics, specifically SAP Production Planning (PP/PP-PI) and its integration with MM, SD, and PM modules.

  • ePPDS Technical Consulting Specialization (e.g., advanced knowledge of finite scheduling algorithms, campaign planning, optimization solvers, and liveCache troubleshooting)

Skills Required:

  • Elite blueprinting, business process mapping, and functional specification writing skills

  • Strong advisory capability to evaluate, optimize, and re-engineer manufacturing processes to eliminate shop floor bottlenecks

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills suited for C-suite steering committees down to plant operators

  • Ability to consult effectively within complex, matrixed global client environments

  • Elite time management and organizational skills to lead project streams under strict milestone-driven deadlines

  • Proactive mindset with a consultative drive to propose optimization improvements and architectural refinements

  • High adaptability to handle rapidly shifting project scopes and environments

  • Act as an explicit agent of organizational change to ensure high user adoption of the new scheduling tool

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
