As a member of the Red Bull North America Team, the IT Project Manager is responsible for coordinating, communicating, and delivering multiple enterprise technology projects within the eCommerce workstream. These include business applications and infrastructure using various governance methodologies, such as waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches. As a specialist in project management, the IT Project Manager often serves as the “face” of highly visible and complex technology initiatives, developing project plans and ensuring their successful completion across their lifecycle with cross-functional internal and external teams. The scope of projects and services they handle is diverse, encompassing system integrations, third-party service implementations, data warehousing solutions, and insights reporting.
Job DescriptionPROJECT MANAGEMENT
Develop and implement tailored project management frameworks to ensure the efficient execution of eCommerce workstream initiatives.
Assist in forecasting the capacity of internal and external resources required for each project.
Estimate project costs to support effective management of the overall portfolio budget, including scope control.
Collaborate with business stakeholders from various departments and teams to define key business challenges and primary objectives of new projects.
Work with the project team to analyze and model the business domain, creating a comprehensive picture of workflows and technical requirements addressed by current and proposed technology solutions.
Facilitate requirements walk-throughs and secure sign-offs, ensuring alignment between business and technical stakeholders, and confirming that use cases and process models accurately reflect their needs and proposed solutions.
Establish the scope and objectives of projects and set up communication channels to ensure technical deliverables meet the expectations of end users.
Develop high-level dashboards, reports, and communication protocols to provide consistent and aligned updates across the project team and organization, including project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
KEY DELIVERABLES
Implement project methodologies for technology projects using appropriate formats, such as waterfall, agile/scrum, and hybrid approaches.
Provide expertise in application integration across diverse business functions.
Understand and apply the principles and processes of contemporary project development methodologies.
Facilitate effective communication with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure clear alignment of project scope, requirements, and progress.
Be recognized internally and externally as an individual with a deep understanding of relevant business functions, serving as a technical expert or a key resource across multiple disciplines.
Qualifications3 - 5 years of experience in managing IT projects.
Extensive expertise and prior experience with standard project management methodologies and delivery approaches, including both Waterfall and Agile frameworks, as outlined by PMI and Scrum Alliance.
Proficiency in using project management and communication tools (e.g., MS Project, Workfront, JIRA, Confluence) and the ability to effectively apply them based on specific project needs.
Fundamental understanding of technical architecture, application system design, and system integration.
Experience in conducting technology market scans and leading vendor RFP processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects of various sizes, levels of complexity, and team configurations.
Experience with governed testing processes for technology solutions.
Preferred familiarity with eCommerce principles and systems, such as B2B eCommerce, product information management systems, and SEO tools.
Preferred knowledge of data structures, reporting, and dashboards (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Power BI).
Background working within a global corporate environment.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is desirable.
Additional InformationThis position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $112,000 - $168,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
