About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager to own the full procurement lifecycle across hardware, software, cloud services, and IT professional services. This role is critical to ensuring financial discipline, vendor accountability, and the smooth flow of IT goods and services into the organization. You’ll work cross-functionally with IT, finance, and legal teams to support tech investments while maintaining strong controls and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement operations: Write and process IT purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely approvals
- Optimize vendor relationships: Own contract lifecycle management, vendor scorecards, renewals, and sourcing strategy for all IT vendors (SaaS, infrastructure, managed services)
- Oversee billing and accruals: Reconcile monthly invoices, track spend vs. budget, and partner with finance to manage accruals and ensure timely payments
- Track IT fixed assets: Maintain asset register for hardware and software, ensuring depreciation schedules and disposals are aligned with accounting standards
- Enhance systems and processes: Champion improvements in procurement workflows and tools (e.g., ERP, contract management software) to improve speed and transparency
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of procurement experience, ideally with a focus on IT or technology categories
- Solid understanding of SaaS licensing models, cloud billing, and hardware lifecycle management
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and procurement best practices
- Detail-oriented, financially savvy, and skilled at juggling multiple priorities
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships
Bonus Points For:
- Experience supporting IT procurement in a public company environment
- Familiarity with IT asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JAMF, SCCM)
- Prior involvement in technology audits, SOX compliance, or vendor consolidation initiatives
Why Join Us:
You’ll be part of a high-performing team at the intersection of technology and operations, helping scale our IT capabilities with fiscal discipline and operational excellence. If you love structure, vendor wrangling, and getting POs signed faster than a software update — this role is for you.
