About the Role

You’ll be the face of IT, providing operational support for all users across the entire organization. You’ll also leading onboarding sessions and ensuring users are set up for success from day one. You’ll contribute to IT team growth, by ensuring IT operational processes are well documented and continuously improved. You’ll be a champion for knowledge sharing and end user training, leading to reduction in support tickets. You’ll also be the system administrator across multiple systems to manage user, application and device life cycle. As our first IT Operations hire, this is a pivotal role in establishing operational excellence and helping scale IT at Lumos

Our technology stack includes: Lumos, Okta, Slack, Notion, Zoom, Google Workspace, JAMF, among others.

✨ Your Responsibilities
  • Analyze and resolve all IT Requests via JIRA ITSM, unblocking employees, and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • User lifecycle management including onboarding, offboarding, mapping attributes to downstream systems and maintaining communication and security groups based on attributes
  • Asset management and device lifecycle management, ensuring all laptops are checking in and managed with a standard operating environment, leading to a better organizational security posture. Includes procurement of hardware and software licenses, ensuring optimal approved spend
  • Application lifecycle management, including configuring single sign on, provisioning, deprovisioning, attribute mapping, access requests and reviews
  • Timely and effective communication with various stakeholders across the entire organization on IT-related support tickets, vendor outages and end user training
  • Help scale IT through knowledge sharing, documenting standard operating procedures and leading continuous improvements
  • Willingness to go beyond what is outlined in this description. As our IT Operations Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to set a high bar on operational excellence. As Lumos grows and evolves so will your role.

  • Operational Excellence: Prior experience performing user onboarding/offboarding, asset inventory management, application onboarding/offboarding, effectively contributing towards documenting standard operating procedures and continuous improvement of employee, device and application life cycle management
  • Empathetic Team Player: Provide timely solutions based on business impact and priority, partnering with cross functional partners as needed and understanding user pain points
  • Technical/Problem Solving Skills: Ability to work across a wide range of technologies and systems, with some admin experience in key IT systems including Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Zoom, JAMF and Okta

💰Pay Range

$75,000 - $105,000. Note that this range is a good faith estimate of likely pay for this role; upon hire, the pay may differ due to skill and/or level of experience.
