Who we are

At City Storage Systems, we're building Infrastructure for Better Food. We help restaurateurs around the world succeed in online food delivery. Our goal is to make food more affordable, higher quality and convenient for everyone. We're changing the game for restaurateurs, whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant all the way through to your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.

What you’ll do

  • Respond to first and second-level requests and issues related to workstation hardware and software, network connectivity, and audio, video, and web conferencing systems.
  • Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems.
  • Implement and monitor security measures, certificates, and company compliance of requirements.
  • Onboard new employees, create accounts, configure hardware and software for those employees, and assist in the training and orientation of new staff with their assigned hardware or software.
  • Actively respond to Service Desk tickets, in-person walk-up support, virtual call support, emails, and escalate end-user help requests within established Service Level Agreements.
  • Set up and support AV for conference rooms and high-profile presentations. Familiarity with audio mixers, microphones, camera management, and configuring meeting and webinar settings. Able to work under pressure during live broadcasts and executive-facing events.

What we’re looking for

  • 3 - 5 years of domain experience.
  • Expertise in small to medium-sized projects.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in managing and supporting macOS, Windows, and mobile operating systems in a corporate environment.
  • Experience with enterprise collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Slack.

Why join us

  • Growing market: You’ll be focused on an $80 billion market projected to reach at least $500 billion by 2030 in the US alone.
  • Changing the restaurant industry: You’ll be part of a team that helps restaurants succeed in online food delivery.
  • Collaborative environment: You will receive support and guidance from experienced colleagues and managers, helping you to learn, grow, and achieve your goals, and you’ll work closely with other teams to ensure our customers’ success.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
