Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It’s time to build.

We are looking for an IT network engineer to join the IT team at Figure, focusing on building out IT network management across the company to meet technology and growth needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including endpoint devices (laptops, workstations, mobile devices), operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, software, and hardware
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration for network infrastructure
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory of network devices
  • Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions
  • Prepare cost–benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they’re offering the best-possible service and value for business needs
  • Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed
  • Maintain network stability and expand network infrastructure to meet business needs

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in IT network management
  • Deep knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows, MacOS), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring
  • Expertise in managing large company networks and wifi deployments with thousands of clients
  • Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $150,000 - $225,000 annually.

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
