As an Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing integrations for our Data & Integrations team. This role will be responsible in the end-to-end process of design, develop, test and deployments. Collaboration with the business stakeholders and team members will be a key in designing a scalable integration. This role involves working with major SaaS platforms like Salesforce, Netsuite, Marketo and gives you the creative canvas to help Elastic be efficient and automated for years to come. What You Will Be Doing:- Design and develop ETL processes using Talend to meet business requirements.
- Maintain and enhance existing ETL workflows to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to identify and resolve issues promptly (prod support).
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various data sources and targets.
- Document ETL processes, designs, and architectures.
- Continuously improve ETL processes by incorporating best practices and feedback.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Talend and data integration.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed.
- Provide support for production issues and participate in on-call rotation.
- At least three years' experience in Talend development.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, web services (SOAP/REST), APIs, and data transformation techniques.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve integration issues.
- Prior experience with Elasticsearch products is a plus.
- Proficient in any programming language.
- Experience in working with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in Workato, MuleSoft, Fivetran, Python.
- Expertise in Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Hands on experience with complex ESB implementations.
Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.
An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
