Since 2011, our mission hasn’t changed — we’re here to stop breaches, and we’ve redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced AI-native platform. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We’re also a mission-driven company. We cultivate a culture that gives every CrowdStriker both the flexibility and autonomy to own their careers. We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.

About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional IT Enterprise Mobile Architect to own and drive our global enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) strategy across all platforms - including VMware Workspace ONE, Microsoft Intune, and Jamf. This senior leadership position is responsible for the technical design, vendor strategy, lifecycle management, and governance of CrowdStrike’s mobile and endpoint management solutions company-wide, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with our business objectives.

As a cross-functional leader, you will collaborate closely with teams across IT, Security, Compliance, and other business units to implement and continuously improve our device management architecture. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in enterprise endpoint management with strategic vision and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with potential to grow into people management in the future, but with immediate emphasis on hands-on architecture, innovation, and broad cross-functional collaboration.

As one of the world’s leading cybersecurity technology companies, CrowdStrike sets the bar extraordinarily high. This role demands nothing short of excellence - We want the best and most passionate talent.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the Enterprise Mobile Management Strategy: Take complete ownership of CrowdStrike’s mobile device and application management program - from defining the vision and roadmap to executing on strategy - ensuring successful implementation with minimal supervision.

  • Architect End-to-End MDM Solutions: Design and implement comprehensive enterprise device management architectures spanning iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS platforms. Unify and integrate tools like Workspace ONE, Intune, Jamf, and future technologies into a cohesive, secure, and scalable endpoint management framework.

  • Drive Vendor Strategy and Innovation: Evaluate and select MDM/MAM platforms and related tools, manage vendor relationships, and drive technology decisions on product selection and implementation approaches based on industry best practices. Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure CrowdStrike leverages the best solutions available.

  • Oversee Device Lifecycle Management: Develop and enforce end-to-end device lifecycle processes - from procurement and provisioning to configuration, updates, and decommissioning. Ensure efficient onboarding of new devices (corporate-owned or BYOD), timely OS/application updates and patching, and secure deprovisioning of assets.

  • Establish Governance and Compliance: Define governance frameworks, security policies, and compliance standards for mobile and endpoint management. Ensure device configurations and usage meet CrowdStrike’s security requirements and regulatory obligations, and implement controls to maintain continuous compliance.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate across IT operations, Security Engineering, Support, and other stakeholders to align mobile management initiatives with broader organizational goals. Facilitate communication and training to ensure end-users and internal teams understand and adopt device management policies and tools effectively.

  • Optimize and Automate: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate device management workflows. Develop custom scripts or tooling to integrate systems (e.g. directory services, identity management, IT service management) and eliminate manual effort, improving reliability and efficiency in device provisioning and support.

  • Integrate Security Solutions: Work closely with cybersecurity teams to integrate endpoint security and mobile threat defense into the MDM strategy. Ensure that CrowdStrike’s own Falcon security platform and other security controls are seamlessly deployed and enforced via MDM/MAM solutions, providing real-time protection for all endpoints.

  • Innovate and Evolve: Continuously assess emerging technologies (e.g. Zero Trust network access, Unified Endpoint Management, new OS capabilities) and industry best practices in enterprise mobility. Pilot new solutions and drive the evolution of CrowdStrike’s mobile architecture to enhance user experience, security posture, and operational agility.

  • Executive Communication and Evangelism: Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, status updates, and technical proposals to gain buy-in for the mobile strategy. Serve as the evangelist for enterprise mobile management best practices within the company, championing the value of a robust MDM/MAM program and cultivating executive sponsorship for key initiatives.

What You’ll Need:

  • 12+ years of IT experience, including significant experience designing, implementing, and scaling enterprise mobile and endpoint management solutions in both high-growth mid-sized environments and large global enterprises.

  • Proven expertise with MDM/MAM platforms such as VMware Workspace ONE, Microsoft Intune, and Jamf in complex environments - from initial deployment and policy configuration to ongoing administration and optimization.

  • Deep knowledge of endpoint platforms: Hands-on experience managing iOS and Android mobile devices as well as Windows and macOS endpoints. Strong understanding of device enrollment programs (Apple Business Manager/DEP, Android Enterprise), application deployment (MAM/app stores), device compliance policies, encryption, and mobile security best practices.

  • Strategic vision & leadership: Demonstrated ability to drive enterprise-wide technology initiatives with minimal oversight. Experience crafting long-term roadmaps, gaining cross-functional buy-in, and leading large-scale rollouts of new IT or security capabilities.

  • Passion for innovation: Unrelenting passion for mobile technology and endpoint management, with a mindset of continuous learning and staying at the forefront of the field. Insatiable curiosity and a proven habit of self-directed research, experimentation, and innovation beyond assigned responsibilities.

  • High-performance work ethic: Exceptional drive and work ethic, matching the intensity and pace of a world-class cybersecurity leader. A results-driven mindset with the resilience to excel in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment.

  • Collaboration & influence: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to translate technical concepts for audiences. Proven talent in influencing and engaging executives, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders alike to rally around a common vision.

  • Technical breadth and depth: Deep understanding of networking, identity/access management integration (e.g. integrating devices with SSO/conditional access), and security frameworks (such as Zero Trust as it relates to device posture). Broad familiarity with directory services (Azure AD/AD), certificate management, and other infrastructure underpinning enterprise endpoint management.

  • Operational excellence: Strong background in IT operations or service delivery, including incident response and change management for endpoint services. Experience applying SRE/DevOps principles to improve the reliability, monitoring, and performance of IT systems is a plus.

  • Automation skills: Proficiency in scripting or light programming (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.) to automate device management tasks and integrate APIs between systems. Ability to build custom tools or scripts to extend capabilities of off-the-shelf MDM solutions.

  • Approach: Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into a practical technical architecture, and to design solutions that balance security, usability, and scalability. Keen product sense for user experience on devices coupled with a security-first mindset.

Bonus Points:

  • Zero Trust & Security: Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture or device trust scoring in an enterprise environment, tying device compliance to conditional access or network access policies.

  • Cloud & Hybrid Environments: Expertise managing endpoint configurations in cloud-first or hybrid organizations - for example, integrating MDM with multiple cloud identity providers or handling multi-tenant SaaS application management for devices.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with security/compliance frameworks (e.g. SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA) and how they relate to device management policies and audit requirements.

  • AI/Automation Innovations: Experience leveraging AI/ML or advanced automation (AIOps) to improve IT operations or endpoint management (such as using analytics to predict device issues or automating support via chatbots).

  • Mobile Threat Defense: Hands-on experience deploying mobile threat defense or endpoint detection & response (EDR) solutions via MDM, or otherwise integrating security telemetry from devices into SOC monitoring.

  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, VMware Workspace ONE Unified Endpoint Management, Jamf Certified Admin, CISSP, CISM, or similar credentials.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
