Job Summary:

The IT Business Manager III is responsible for providing internal and external communication support to assist in running the business of IT.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to support IT goals and objectives
  • Lead Organizational Change Management and develop communications, presentations, and engagement activities for stakeholders during change efforts
  • Create compelling messaging and content that effectively communicates business value, member centered solutions, and other key messages to various audiences
  • Create and deliver executive level presentations that identify key insights and identify key actions that support IT strategy and objectives
  • Develop agendas and content for IT leadership and town hall meetings
  • Assist with the development of strategic messaging and tactics for disseminating news and other content to internal audiences
  • Develop, write and edit communications for emails, briefing documents, intranet posts, events and executive presentations for use internally and externally
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels
  • Create, monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness
  • Identify and implement new communication channels to evolve message adoption
  • Collaborate and assist as a backup to the IT Performance & Business Services team
  • Flexible team player and perform any other job-related instructions, as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience required
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in IT, business analysis and/or communications related field
  • Prior management experience is preferred
  • Experience working within a large organization in the technology field preferred

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Highly organized, resourceful, and detail oriented with a strong focus on proof-reading and accuracy.
  • Ability to think, plan and execute multiple high-priority tasks at one time in an organized fashion
  • Ability to absorb technical content and repurpose for a variety of communications vehicles
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects at once in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction 
  • Effective team player who can lead efforts across disciplines
  • Excellent creative and visual skills including graphic design exposure as well as slide design with experience using presentation software
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Executive maturity and an ability to work effectively with senior executives
  • Familiarity with IT implementation projects and IT strategy formulation is preferred
  • Strong communications professional with experience with managing internal communications programs and supporting senior leadership communications

Licensure and Certification:

  • None

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:

$83,000.00 - $132,800.00

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance. We are highly invested in every employee’s total well-being and offer a substantial and comprehensive total rewards package.
