IT Business Analyst

The Role

As an IT Business Analyst, you will support IT demand management by analysing business needs, documenting requirements, and enabling the successful delivery of IT4IT initiatives. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you will help prioritise demand, improve processes, and ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives.

What You’ll Do
  • Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements across IT initiatives.
  • Analyse current and future-state business processes, producing process maps and supporting documentation.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and support business case development and demand prioritisation.
  • Maintain the demand backlog, ensuring requirements remain accurate, prioritised, and up to date.
  • Support technology delivery teams by providing clear analysis and ensuring solutions meet business needs.
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 3 years' experience working as a Business Analyst within technology or change programmes.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting technology delivery throughout the project lifecycle while working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
Bonus Points For
  • PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) certification.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
  • Experience supporting IT demand management or IT4IT environments.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working within consulting or large enterprise transformation programmes.
