About the Role:

The Manager, IT Audit is a leadership role within the Internal Audit team, responsible for risk assessments, planning and delivery of audits covering technology, cybersecurity, data governance, and systems controls across the enterprise. This role partners closely with leaders in IT, Information Security, the SOX PMO, external auditors, and regulators to provide independent assurance and actionable insights that strengthen the company's technology risk management practices.

The Manager will also play a leadership role in the Internal Audit Data Analytics program, including implementing AI-enabled audit solutions and the administration of our AuditBoard platform. Additionally, you will help to lead a global IT audit team and the execution of the global IT audit plan.

You Will:

  • You will report directly to the Senior Manager, IT Audit.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential IT risks and develop audit plans to assess those risks.
  • Lead SOX IT teams as they test ITGC, IPE, and ITAC, partnering with the SOX PMO and external auditors.
  • Plan and complete IT audit and advisory projects to assess the effectiveness of IT controls and identify audit findings or recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain IT audit procedures and methodologies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT management to develop corrective action plans to address audit findings.
  • Present audit findings to management.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT audit, with a focus on SOX, IT systems, infrastructure, and applications with 2+ years of global leadership experience.
  • Professional audit certification, such as CPA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, etc.
  • Knowledge of IT audit frameworks, standards, and regulations, such as ISO-27001, NIST, SOX, etc.
  • Experience with Data Analytics and audit management software and tools, such as AuditBoard.
  • Experience auditing IT systems, infrastructure, and applications, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, SDLC, etc.
  • You will spend at least three days in the Seattle office/week (relocation assistance is available).
  • Domestic and International travel is required, approx. 5 - 15%.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $130,000-$145,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
