We are seeking a highly motivated intern from a U.S. university to join our LA-based IT team. This full-time 12-month internship provides hands-on experience in IT support, hardware/software asset management, and workflow automation.
As part of the team, you will work closely with local studio users and global IT teams to deliver day-to-day technical support, manage IT assets, and assist in building lightweight tools and automation to improve efficiency.

What You’ll Work On

End-User IT Support

  • Provide on-site support for LA studio staff, including hardware/software setup, troubleshooting, and user assistance
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks (accounts, devices, and access)
  • Support collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Zoom, Teams, Atlassian, Miro)

IT Asset & Software Management

  • Assist in hardware lifecycle management (laptops, peripherals, accessories)
  • Track and manage software licenses, installations, and compliance
  • Support IT Asset Management (ITAM) activities in ServiceNow

Workflow Automation & Tools

  • Contribute to automation of repetitive IT tasks (e.g., user provisioning, reporting)
  • Help build dashboards to track asset usage, software allocation, and system health
  • Support development of lightweight scripts or ServiceNow workflows to reduce manual workloads

Collaboration & Project Support

  • Partner with IT staff and business teams to improve support processes
  • Document technical procedures, FAQs, and asset management practices
  • Participate in team standups, reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for LA studio users
  • Assist with IT hardware and software asset tracking and management
  • Support IT automation initiatives and simple tool development
  • Contribute to documentation, QA testing, and IT process improvement
  • Collaborate with global IT teams and follow agile project practices
Who We Look For

Who We’re Looking For

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiar with operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common enterprise applications
  • Basic knowledge of IT asset management and/or scripting (JavaScript, Python, or similar)
  • Interest in workflow automation, dashboards, and IT operations tools
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a multicultural environment

  • Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled at a U.S. university, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with API integrations and/or software development is a plus
  • Exposure to ITAM/ITSM systems (especially ServiceNow) is a plus

Location State(s)

US-California-Los Angeles

The expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $27.00 to $57.70 per hour. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will be eligible for 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked and up to 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, full-time interns are also eligible to enroll in the Company-sponsored medical plan.Equal Employment Opportunity at Tencent
