Job Summary:

The IT, Accounting & Operations Intern provides hands-on administrative, technical, and operational support to corporate functions within a manufacturing organization. This role is designed for a student or recent graduate seeking exposure to manufacturing corporate support operations, including basic IT systems support, accounting assistance, and cross-functional operational projects.

The intern will work closely with Accounting/Finance, Operations, and IT to support daily business activities while developing practical skills in a professional manufacturing environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

IT & Systems Support:
  • Provide basic IT support, including user access requests, equipment setup, and troubleshooting under supervision.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities (system access, equipment tracking).
  • Support documentation of IT procedures, asset tracking, and system inventories.
  • Assist with data cleanup, reporting, and system organization tasks.
  • Coordinate with internal teams or vendors for routine IT support requests.

Accounting & Finance Support:
  • Assist accounting team with data entry, reconciliations, and basic reporting.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice tracking and documentation.
  • Help maintain organized financial and operational records.
  • Assist with audits, inventory documentation, or cost tracking projects as assigned.

Operations & Administrative Support:
  • Support corporate operations projects related to manufacturing support functions.
  • Assist with process documentation, workflow mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Help track operational metrics, schedules, and project deliverables.
  • Provide general administrative support to corporate teams as needed.

Learning & Development:
  • Gain exposure to manufacturing business operations, corporate systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Participate in training related to company systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Complete assigned projects with increasing independence over time.
 
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Excel, Word, email).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Willingness to learn and ask questions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Coursework or experience related to IT systems, accounting, or business operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP, accounting software, or ticketing systems (exposure only; training provided).
  • Interest in manufacturing, supply chain, or corporate operations.

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $21 – $25 per hour.
