As a Ratings Advisory Associate in the Investment Banking Division, you will be a key player in the origination and execution of the firm's business. You'll have experience developing strong relationships with corporates and financial institution clients as well as key decision makers at the rating agencies. You'll work as advisor to clients and on deals and transaction across the spectrum of our banking products, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buy-outs, restructurings, debt/loan and equity capital raises.

Job Responsibilities
- Supporting senior bankers on deals with ability to drive forward work relating to client interactions and deal executions
- Drafting and refining marketing/execution materials for maximum client impact
- Creating and reviewing financial projection models and rating agency models
- Conducting, reviewing and coordinating analytic work to move marketing/execution processes forward
- Identifying and managing all risks in a given deal
- Liaising with other internal and external parties on transactions (eg. lawyers, accountants, counterparties)
- Keeping abreast of key market and rating agency specific developments and establishing knowledge of the target client base and relevant market dynamics
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance and/or related major
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in a credit rating agency, ratings advisory, investment banking front office, credit risk or related role
- Experience with credit rating agency methodologies
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills
- Understanding of the transaction cycle and is execution oriented
- Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, and have the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and to develop innovative solutions
- Adaptability, able to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team
