Position Summary

The Intragovernmental Trading Partner Analyst supports the OneStream implementation by maintaining and validating trading partner data required for intragovernmental accounting, eliminations, reconciliations, and external reporting. This role works with finance, accounting operations, component stakeholders, and master data owners to help ensure trading partner attributes, mappings, and hierarchies are standardized, supportable, and aligned to federal reporting and consolidation requirements. The role also supports UAT, deployment readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.

Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants and professionals with unique skill sets to support the federal government with strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Support processes for adding, updating, and retiring trading partners in coordination with agency data governance and master data procedures.

Coordinate with accounting, budget, reporting, consolidation, and data teams to confirm how partner-related activity should flow through OneStream and downstream reports.

Support UAT by validating trading partner eliminations, reconciliations, reporting outputs, and interface dependencies.

Investigate missing, inconsistent, or misclassified trading partner data and route issues to the appropriate functional or data owner for correction.

Help ensure trading partner data supports complete and supportable reporting, intercomponent reconciliation, and analysis of intragovernmental balances.

Document setup rules, mapping logic, ownership, and update procedures to support repeatable operations and sustainment after go-live.

Required Qualifications

Understanding of intragovernmental transactions, eliminations, reconciliations, and federal consolidation support processes.

Familiarity with federal reporting controls, traceability expectations, and supportable documentation.

Ability to translate business requirements into trading partner attributes, mapping rules, validation checks, and operational procedures.

Strong data validation, issue triage, root-cause analysis, and reconciliation skills.

Experience working across agency finance, accounting operations, reporting, data, and technical teams.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
