Merchandising Data Analyst Internship

What you’ll do:
- Support Merchandising department & its business objectives
- Analyze consumer/transactional/historical data and unlock insights (ex: RFM analysis, forecast trends, customer segmentation, etc.)
- Research product and shopping trends for upcoming seasons
- Stay current on market trends
- Compile data on previous year’s Holiday promotional performance
- Assist in gathering of information to drive decisions on seasonal / holiday promotions
- Assist in initiative and seasonal reporting
- Absorb: be fully immersed in a fast-paced and profitable start up! Dive in and have the opportunity to contribute to multiple teams across the company
- Contribute: have meaningful input on projects across the Merchandising team

About You:
- Highly Analytical. Strong quantitative and problem solving skills. Experience with Excel is a must; proficiency in SQL and knowledge of advanced statistical methods and/or programming languages for data analysis (E.g. Python, R) preferred
- Tech Guru. Strong familiarity with e-commerce, online content sites, tech and lifestyle products, as well as an array of Social Media platforms.
- Organized. Highly organized with the ability to juggle several things at once and prioritize time-sensitive projects.
- Dedicated. You go above and beyond because you are driven to succeed. You make educated, logical decisions but also know there’s a time for trusting your intuition, vision and heart.
- Detail-Oriented. You strive for perfection in everything you do.
- Teachable. You enjoy learning and are ready to be pushed out of your comfort zone.
What to Expect:
- Intro Call: You’ll hop on a quick call with the hiring manager so we can get to know you better — and you can learn a little more about the role.
- Homework Assignment: We send over a quick exercise that challenges you to solve a problem and come up with a creative solution. Get a feel for what you’ll be doing on a daily basis!
- Remote-Team Interview: You’ll be meeting with a few team members on a video call. This is your chance to ask questions and see who this role interacts with on a daily basis.
