The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team is a small but important part of the larger People Team function. We partner heavily with the Learning & Development team to focus on initiatives that support the representation and development of underrepresented tech professionals, increase cultural awareness and conversational capacity around privilege, race, mental health, etc. and enable employees to feel included and excited to come to work! We aim to drive the company’s health, happiness and success. We work hard, we have a lot of fun, we collaborate nonstop, and are passionate about Tinder, the people and our values!

What you'll do:

  • Act as a source of information for employees and visitors who come to the DEI and Learning & Development teams
  • Work on data entry and maintain DEI + Learning & Development documentation and resources
  • Support Tinder’s six Employee Resource Groups under the guidance of the DEI Business Partner
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees such as sending welcome emails, scheduling, and checking in with new hires, etc.
  • Assist with the coordination of DEI and Learning & Development events & trainings
  • Take on special projects as necessary

What we're looking for:

  • Passion/interest and understanding of social justice issues
  • Someone with the ability to work close in coordination and collaborate with the People team and other departments to build relationships and trust with a broad range of individuals across the organization
  • Proven track record of being reliable, prepared, responsive, eager to learn and encouraging
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Acute attention to detail and follow through, high-level of organization

As part of our team, you’ll enjoy:

- The liveliness of a startup with the impact of a global business

- Collaborating with a team of creative, fun and driven colleagues

- Working with an extraordinary team of smart, creative, fun, and highly motivated people

- Competitive hourly pay and flexible working schedule

- Access to mental health resources

- Virtual yoga and fitness classes, and many other fun activities

- Virtual celebrations, parties, socials, and more
