With the launch of Snap Kit and Snap Minis, we’ve enabled developers to build incredible new product experiences that leverage some of Snapchat’s best features. To help drive awareness and adoption of Snap Kit with the developer community, we’re looking for a Developer Relations Growth Intern to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Platform Partnerships team, you’ll help us develop our growth strategy that will help us reach established companies and emerging startups, tailor customized messaging and materials to inform these partners to the unique opportunities presented by our platforms, with the goal of converting them to active developers on our platform. As an intern working with our team remotely, you’ll collaborate with members of the Developer Relations, Business Development, Partnership Management, and Product Marketing teams by unlocking new partnerships on the platform by demonstrating the value of our platform to the ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about Snapchat and its community and someone who can help us communicate the value of our New Platforms to our Developer Community.
What you’ll do:
Support developer research sessions to understand the needs and motivations of our Developer Community.
Work cross-functionally with members of the Partnerships and New Platforms team to produce inspirational, data-driven case studies and articles for new and existing platform developers.
Analyze developer conversion funnel from potential to active developer partner — and identify opportunities to improve conversion.
Identify areas where improving internal and external resources will result in platform-level growth.
Develop assessment criteria that will signal what works on the platform and why in order to replicate breakout platform hits on and off Snap Platforms.
Research and propose actionable steps for the Snap Developer platform to grow opportunistically in global markets.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Familiarity with business intelligence tools, user research, and case studies that communicate drive decision-making.
Ability to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects concurrently.
Currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration, or a similar graduate degree or equivalent
Graduating between December 2021 and August 2022
At least 3-5 years of experience in a marketing, sales, or business development capacity at a consumer technology company
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience writing and producing engaging content.
