As an Analytics Intern on the Digital Products team you will work at the intersection of product strategy and software engineering, translating raw data into insights and recommendations. You will design and analyze the data foundations that inform how we improve engagement, optimize subscription performance, and shape feature development across our global websites and apps. Your work will directly influence how we evolve our digital products, supporting decisions that impact audience growth, retention, and overall user experience.

Job Description

SHAPE PRODUCT STRATEGY

Leverage data to support how our digital products grow and improve:

Analyze behavioral and subscription data to identify the drivers of engagement, conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value.

Segment audiences to understand how different user groups interact with product features and content, uncovering opportunities to improve the user experience.

Conduct exploratory data analysis using SQL in cloud-based data warehouses such as BigQuery.

Develop descriptive analyses that surface meaningful usage patterns, distinguishing between casual users, engaged users, and power users.

Contribute to predictive analyses that identify statistically significant signals and behavioral indicators associated with long-term retention, and progression toward high engagement.

 

SUPPORT ON PRODUCT DECISIONS

Enable product and leadership teams to make informed decisions:

Translate complex findings into clear, data-driven recommendations that inform product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and the allocation of development resources and platform investments.

Formulate prescriptive recommendations based on data insights, advising which product features or optimizations are most likely to improve key performance metrics.

Qualifications

Actively enrolled undergraduate or graduate student

Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field preferred/ a plus.

Available full-time (40 hours per week) during the internship onsite.

A growth mindset, with the ability to learn quickly, adapt to new environments, and incorporate feedback

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful patterns a plus

Experience with SQL and relational databases preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker.

Exposure to cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or similar) is a plus.

Programming experience in Python, JavaScript or similar languages is a plus.

Interest in digital media, streaming platforms, or the sports and entertainment industry

Additional Information

The compensation for this position is $33 per hour.
