Your Role
As a Backend Intern on our Supply, NPU, and Yield team, you will be a key contributor to our core service operations. You'll support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of APIs that are crucial for the scalability and reliability of our services. Your work will directly contribute to our fleet planning, procurement, and unit-economics calculation processes. You will collaborate closely with our senior engineers and stakeholders, to help build and refine the tools needed to get the right cars for the right deals.

Your Responsibilities
- Do it, do it, automate it: Simplify, automate and optimize processes that are currently carried out manually using no-code tools as Make or Retool (50%) and solid hard code implementation (50%).
- You build it, you run it: Build features and take ownership for testing, deployment and monitoring of your code. Yes, we believe in Serverless!
- As an active member of our Backend team, you'll learn engineering best practices directly from senior engineers. You will participate in technical discussions and gain firsthand insight into how we design and deliver effective solutions.
Your Profile
- Currently enrolled in a German university, studying an engineering or business discipline with a focus on IT.
- Experience in software engineering with a hands-on mindset.
- Experience with Javascript and Typescript.
- Knowledge in SQL, Docker and building HTTP APIs or with serverless applications is a plus.
- Experience with Git and traditional PR review processes is a plus.
- Experience in a high growth startup or another agile development team is a plus.
- Strong growth mind-set and the motivation to continuously improve.
- Available for a full-time internship lasting 6 months.
- Fluent in English.
