Are you our next International Tax Manager?

Our International Tax Manager will play an integral role on our team managing international tax compliance for our federal tax returns across our global entities and assist with various research and planning projects. Managing and developing your people is the most important aspect of the job. This position will be exposed to a variety of other tax and business departments, and mentorship. This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description

What our International Tax Manager will do:

  • Prepare and review US international income tax returns and forms (e.g. Form 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118/1116 (FTC), 8992 (GILTI), 8993 (FDII))
  • Prepare and review various US international tax calculations (e.g. GILTI, BEAT, FDII, FTC, Pillar 2) 
  • Manage the tax compliance calendar and oversee the day-to-day workload of the Senior International Tax accountants
  • Review year-end tax provisions for our foreign entities
  • Review foreign tax returns prepared by local firms  
  • Review CbCR filings for our US and foreign entities
  • Oversee quarterly projections for our foreign entities
  • Prepare and consolidate tax footnotes for our audited financial statements
  • Leads or supports international tax projects (Pillar 2, e-Invoicing, public CbCR, DPR etc.)
  • Leads or supports development and implementation of transfer pricing policies, processes and documentation
  • Assess U.S. domestic tax impacts for mergers and acquisitions
  • Advise our business units on tax implications and provide recommendations
  • Support ad-hoc projects as needed (e.g. FATCA, W-8-BEN-E reviews)

Qualifications

Are you the right fit for this role?

Skills & experience that are necessary as our International Tax Manager will include, but not limited to:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, or finance related field
  • CPA is preferred, Master's in Taxation a plus
  • 5+ years of tax experience ideally with a Big 4 accounting firm and/or corporate tax department
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supervising or overseeing tax preparers.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of GoSystem/OneSource or similar software is preferred

Pay Range: $150,000 - $170,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
