OVERVIEW

Being a part of the Alo team as a Planner comes with great responsibilities. It’s more than just planning inventory and sales for our international JV & Franchise Partners. It’s about being a part of Alo’s mission and vision of studio to street and elevating the experience each store offers. It’s about getting product to our Guests seamlessly. As our Planner your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Build and manage inventory & sales plans to monitor, analyze and strategically direct International JV & Franchise partners.
  • Manage order submission and consolidation process for Franchise Partners.
  • Provide analytical insights to drive growth within assigned categories and/or various operating channels and international markets.
  • Manage the OTB monthly financial review for Franchise Partners to identify risks and opportunities in sales and inventory.
  • Recap and analyze actual sales results to plan and forecast in-season sales and inventories on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Monitor supply chain & product flow to support key programs and delivery launches.
  • Create pre-season sales, gross margin and inventory plans by department that align with company targets
  • Support in developing Excel based tools (pivot tables, formulas) to streamline planning and reporting processes
  • Investigate data inconsistencies and actively identify solutions or escalate questions to appropriate teams
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 3+ years in merchandise planning or inventory management. International experience a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Advanced Excel skills required (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP, IF statements). Experience with macros or Power Query is a plus
  • Strong ability to collect, manage and manipulate data from many sources
  • Ability to prioritize, learn quickly, and execute with accuracy
  • Strong aptitude for numbers, retail math skills and understanding of forecasting methodology
  • Able to initiate cross functional discussions
  • Demonstrates logical analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Display strong listening, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong trend analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to positively influence and lead others by fostering a motivating work outlook with emphasis on team collaboration
  • Experience with Anaplan/Tableau a plus

The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 per year, which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
