WHO WE ARE

The mission of the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board (Los Angeles Tourism) is to improve the quality of life for all Angelenos through the economic and community benefits of tourism. Representing over 1,000 local tourism-related businesses, Los Angeles Tourism is a non-profit organization responsible for promoting the City of Angels as one of the world’s premier travel destinations through its global brand marketing and sales efforts. Dine LA has become one of the largest restaurant weeks in the nation—featuring nearly 450 restaurants across 88 neighborhoods and 33 global cuisines. As of June 2025, LA County is home to more than 180 Michelin-recognized restaurants, with 32 participating in Dine LA Restaurant Week. As one of the world’s premier sports capitals, Los Angeles is excited to host eight FIFA World Cup 26™ matches – including the U.S. Men’s National Team opening match – and welcome back the Super Bowl for the ninth time. THE OPPORTUNITY

The International Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for leading global digital marketing initiatives that promote Los Angeles as a premier travel destination across key international markets. This role manages international website content, social media channels, influencer and creator partnerships, digital communications, and branding projects in collaboration with global teams, agencies, and tourism partners. The position oversees multilingual content strategy, analyzes website and social media performance, supports international advertising campaigns, and coordinates cross-functional marketing efforts to drive engagement, brand awareness, and visitation. The ideal candidate is a highly organized digital marketing professional with experience in global marketing, content management, social media strategy, influencer relations, analytics, and project management within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Manages brand, digital and social projects with international team members,  representatives, and agencies from key markets. Ensures all requests from international teams are responded to in a timely manner and prioritized. (25%)
  • Identifies, engages with, and hosts influencers/creators from key domestic and international markets. (25%)
  • Oversees international language sites on discoverlosangeles.com. Shares monthly HQ editorial calendar with international teams. Ensures content is translated and posted regularly and in a timely manner. Monitors and reports on site traffic with Google Analytics. (15%)
  • Manages international social media channels with international teams. Works closely with Social Media Manager for HQ content direction. Reviews social calendars from each international market and ensures content is posted regularly and in a timely manner. Monitors and reports on social analytics. (15%)
  • Works with international teams on B2B digital communications, eNewsletters, branding and B2B social media trade pages. (10%)
  • Assists in the review and project management of international advertising campaigns. (5%)
  • Perform other duties as assigned. (5%)

SOME OTHER THINGS YOU MAY DO 

  • Collaborates on activations and events in international markets.
  • Drafts scope of work with influencers/creators, agencies and independent contractors for international projects.
  • Modifies images to fit appropriately for all web/social dimensions when needed.
  • Partners with Visit California and Brand USA (state and national tourism boards) on projects throughout the year.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED 

  • Must be exceptionally knowledgeable of Los Angeles (communities and product), and have a passion for the promotion of the destination.
  • 3-5 years of experience working on international projects with team members on various time zones.
  • Strong knowledge of online communications strategies and tactics, usability standards, branding and latest digital technologies, tools and best practices.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Dependable, great attitude, highly motivated and a team player.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various departments. 
  • Ability to work in a changing environment.

NICE TO HAVES

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Fluency or solid understanding of any language from one of our key markets is preferred (Spanish, Korean, Japanese, German, French, or Chinese).

COMPENSATION RANGE

Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.

$80,000 - $100,000
