Job Description
Corporate and Firmwide Employee Communications is an integral function within JPMorganChase, focused on reinforcing our culture and keeping employees engaged about the firm's priorities and diverse businesses. The team is a trusted advisor to senior leaders, key stakeholders and other communications managers across the company and uses a variety of engagement channels and tools.
As the Internal Communications Vice President you will engage and educate our most valuable resource: Our employees. As a member of the Corporate and Firmwide Employee Communications team, you will support today@, the homepage of the JPMorganChase corporate intranet. In addition, you will support the full cycle of content generation, from idea through production publishing and success analysis through metrics.
Job responsibilities:
• Pitch, write, edit and publish content for the intranet
• Uncover newsworthy stories across the enterprise, cover on-site events and interview senior business leaders
• Program daily story lineup and monitor story performance
• Build relationships across businesses and collaborate with internal (video, design) creative teams
• Partner with internal colleagues to refine copy stylistically and for consistency of tone/voice
• Maintain existing internal web pages and build event-specific pages, as necessary.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
• 5+ years of experience in a news or media setting; Bachelor's degree
• Deep understanding of tone and voice and how to adapt both for print, web and mobile
• Digital publishing and content management experience
• Comfort working under tight deadlines; Self-motivated
• Ability to work on multiple high-priority pieces simultaneously
• Superior writing and grammar skills
• Customer and client focus; an excellent partner
• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Digital publishing and content management tools
• Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Analytics experience
• HTML and/or Microsoft SharePoint
• Search Engine Optimization
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
• Experience producing and managing content for mobile news app
