Position Purpose:


We’re looking for a nimble, creative, and strategic communicator to join our internal communications team. You’ll help bring our company’s mission, strategy, and culture to life for employees across the organization. From quick-turn announcements to long-term campaigns, you’ll partner with stakeholders across the organization to develop and execute internal communication strategies.

  • Develops, executes and measures internal communications strategy and programs for Centene
  • Partners with internal teams/clients to identify stories to share enterprise wide and produce the content in collaboration
  • Provides guidance and counsel to internal teams/client on internal communications best practices and strategy
  • Participates, and leads as assigned, corporates communications integrated campaigns by contributing to overall strategy and communications deliverables
  • Writes, edits and disseminates messages across organization, including intranet content, newsletters, email messages, talking points, and presentations
  • Assists with establishing and maintaining the internal communications department’s strategic vision, objectives and policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, related field or equivalent experience required. 5+ years communications, public relations, or marketing experience required
 

Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
