Job Description

In search for an outcome-oriented planner and problem solver with great people skills and passion for great customer service.

We’re searching for a Customer Service (CS) Supervisor to support the daily activities of our Customer Service Department—an exceptionally important business area with high standards of quality, service, accuracy and efficiency. The CS Supervisor will be joining a first-class team that delivers fantastic customer experience at every touch point and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a subset of the department. Responsibilities for this position include staffing, training, scheduling, and assigning workload to the team.

 The CS Supervisor is accountable for meeting the operational and service goals of the department and will help define the processes, procedures, and systems to support and sustain long-term growth while promoting best in class service. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver with a knack for thinking outside the box and providing exceptional service while doing it.

A day in the office looks like this: 

  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of areas of responsibilities
  • Instructs, orients, motivates, and otherwise assists employees so that production and quality objectives are achieved
  • Conduct meetings with respective team to discuss department initiatives and strategies 
  • Present reports and information in department meetings and in meetings with key stakeholders as the SME 
  • Coordinates and supervises activities of personnel, determining specific work assignments
  • Ensures all work is scheduled and performed in an efficient manner
  • Maintains and supervises company productivity and quality standards per specifications
  • Jumps into time-sensitive projects wherever needed
  • Shows flexibility and a willingness to learn
  • Treats internal and external customers like gold 

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 1+ years leading projects or people
  • 2+ years of experience in a Customer Service, Call Center, or Order Department role preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet, work independently, make decisions, and take appropriate actions
  • Skill at managing and motivating a team of individuals with differing skill levels to enable them to achieve performance goals and quality standards
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency
  • Great accuracy and attention to detail 
  • The ability to work onsite at our Carson operations

At Lakeshore, we pay local market wages for employees that reside within Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

For this position, new employees joining Lakeshore who live within Los Angeles and Orange Counties are typically brought into the organization at a salary rate between $53,500 - $83,500 depending on relevant experience & skillset.

This range is indicative of projected hiring range. The annual base compensation will take into account each candidate's relevant experience, location, and skillset.
