We’re actively seeking two talented Internal Account Managers - Annuities to join our Strategic Accounts team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE.
As an Internal Account Manager - Annuities, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by partnering closely with one or more External Field Directors to grow and maintain relationships with distribution partners and clients from within the office, drive annuity sales, and support the sales lifecycle. This role applies strong relationship management skills, provides proactive product information, resolves issues, and delivers comprehensive sales support. The Internal Account Manager serves as a dedicated resource to the Sales Teams, creating and maintaining firm specific tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The Internal Account Manager also serves as a key liaison between distribution partner firms and internal departments, including operations, marketing, underwriting, and compliance, ensuring consistent communication and execution.

Serving as a central point of coordination, the role requires annuity knowledge, relationship and project management capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Provide sales and marketing support to field partner(s) and complete projects for partners and Broker Dealer firms to support relationships and grow sales.

  • Develop BD relationships and obtain results by proactive communication, seek approvals and promotion of annuity and mutual fund products, report and presentation preparation and distribution, manage BD inquiries and problem resolution within Strategic Accounts and other departments, seek opportunities for Pacific Life at BD firms to promote tools and materials.

  • Answer BD level questions on product and marketing material approval and availability, provide knowledge of BD systems, producer information and competition.  Create Sales Team communications on BD related developments and updating of resources (internal grids, systems) to support Sales Team sales and activity efforts.  

The experience you bring:

  • Four-year college degree, with experience in financial services preferred.

  • FINRA SIE, Series 6 required or must pass within 90 days of filing with FINRA.

  • Must have good working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$93,600.00 - $114,400.00
