Internship at a Glance:
- Location: Immerse yourself in our innovative culture! This role requires a commitment of 4 days in-office per week at our facility in Garden Grove, CA as well as full-time hours (40 hours a week).
- Duration: 10-11 weeks (May 26 to August 7 OR June 22 to August 28)
- Relocation Support: A $1,000 relocation stipend is available for interns currently residing more than 50 miles from Garden Grove, CA.
- Compensation: Earn an hourly rate of $25-35 USD per hour.
We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Sales Ops Intern to support our growing sales team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating across teams, and is eager to develop foundational sales and business operations skills. You’ll gain hands-on experience in CRM management, sales operations, lead qualification, and customer engagement while supporting high-impact initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:- Sales Development & Customer Engagement
- Lead Identification & Outreach: Assist the sales team in identifying and qualifying leads through targeted research and outreach.
- Customer Engagement: Call potential customers to engage, qualify leads, and nurture early-stage relationships.
- Sales Support: Support the preparation of compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Market Research & Product Alignment
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs.
- Product Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of the company’s product offerings and articulate how they align with market demands and solve customer problems.
- Sales Operations & Administration
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.
- System Administration: Perform regular CRM administration tasks, including data entry, updating contact information, and generating essential reports for the sales team.
- Process Improvement: Support critical Sales Operations functions, including assisting with the system build-out of new sales tools and providing support for month-end close activities to ensure accurate reporting.
- Project Management: Provide general project management support by tracking project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Team Collaboration
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Actively collaborate with team members on various projects and contribute directly to achieving team goals.
- Education: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a college or university, pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and professionally.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive as part of a collaborative team.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are critical for CRM and Sales Ops responsibilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with CRM and ERP software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Netsuite) is a significant plus.
- Mindset: A positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
