The Storage Business Unit focuses on enabling smarter business planning and forecasting through advanced analytics, helping accelerate decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization.

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will collaborate with multi-functional teams to enhance Micron’s business planning processes. You will gather requirements from Product Managers and Business Line Managers and translate them into analytical models that support efficient demand forecasting. This internship offers hands-on experience in data architecture, statistical modeling, and process improvement.

• Work closely with business collaborators to understand objectives and challenges
• Propose innovative and practical solutions to support fact-based decision-making
• Develop analytics solutions using Python and Microsoft SQL Server
• Apply statistical methods such as linear regression and classification for forecasting
• Present findings and recommendations to team members and executives
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or a related field.
• Must not graduate before September 2024
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Tableau
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in requirement gathering, process modeling, and documentation

• Experience in business analytics or demand forecasting
• Familiarity with data architecture and statistical modeling techniques
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in improving business processes through data-driven insights

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
