About the Position: 
We’re seeking a passionate and versatile Intern to join our AGBO Labs department for our 2026 Spring Internship Program. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring artist to get hands-on experience across a range of digital production pipelines including VFX, animation, and virtual production workflows. You'll work directly with our Labs team to support a variety of productions in development. AGBO is proud to offer an educational internship program with meaningful preparation for future careers in entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support ongoing projects in VFX and animation with generalist 3D tasks (modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, etc.)
  • Assist with previsualization and look development across a variety of formats
  • Collaborate with artists, technologists, and supervisors to help prototype new workflows
  • Contribute to the development of asset libraries and experimental tests
  • Participate in team reviews, critiques, and creative discussions

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in VFX, animation, digital arts, or a related field
  • Strong foundational skills in 3D content creation (Maya, Blender, Unreal Engine, Houdini, etc.)
  • A curious and adaptable team player with a proactive approach to learning
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Bonus: Experience or familiarity with motion capture workflows and mocap cleanup
  • Bonus: Interest in real-time workflows or virtual production stages

About the Program:

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a related field. Junior/Senior applications only.
  • Application Deadline: December 8, 2025
  • Program Duration: January 26, 2026 - April 17, 2026
  • Scheduled Weekly Hours: 20 hours max per week
  • Applicant must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Los Angeles, CA area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
  • Internship Credit is also provided for students seeking academic credit for this experience 
  • Paid internship: $17.87 Hourly
