ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Interns will participate in a supervised, structured learning experience providing practical experience and skill development in a professional setting, with responsibilities often including assisting with projects, research, and other tasks as needed. The Internship program at Performant offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Healthcare/Insurance industry and develop valuable skills which can be applied to future employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities to include:

• Assist with specific tasks or projects related to the business area.

• Conduct research and gather data.

• Support team members with daily tasks and/or administrative duties.

• Participate in meetings and contribute ideas and feedback as appropriate.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree program relevant to the internship being offered.  In some cases, candidates who have recently graduated may qualify as well (restrictions apply).

• Typically, candidates must have achieved Junior class standing or greater.

• Work is likely to be remote in nature, so the ability to work remotely and have reliable, secure Internet service is required.
