We are seeking a Fullstack Engineer for our Product Engineering Team.
What you'll do:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve feature development on Fullscript
- Responsible for designing and developing RESTful APIs to provide access to Fullscript’s core services and data
- Build scalable frontend and backend applications to support the growing needs of the business
- Review pull requests, mentor, and be an advocate for high-quality code that makes future development faster, easier and better.
- Take full ownership and responsibility for building, shipping, testing, deploying and maintaining features
- Scope and plan projects and working with other developers (front-end and back) to implement them
- Give input on high-level architecture decisions and communicate those decisions
- Other duties determined by the company from time to time
What you bring to the table:
- You are a passionate software engineer that cares about your craft. You are excited to learn, lead projects and want to produce the best work possible
- Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with third-parties
- Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails
- Experience working with Javascript or JS frameworks (React, Vue, AngularJS, Next or similar)
- You can write tests and understand their value
- You have a desire to learn and being open to feedback
- Understanding of design patterns and clean code
