Position Summary

e.l.f. Beauty is looking for an Interim, Associate Director of Digital Product Management who will focus on providing an optimal digital experience across our multi-brand portfolio, by driving conversion through innovative and cutting-edge experiences. This position reports to the Chief Digital Offer and oversees Digital Product, Sprint & Project Management, UX/UI Design, and Front-End Development. The role is highly cross-functional and will partner closely with stakeholders across the organization and agency partners to bring the brand to life in our digital landscape. Partners include Web Development, E-Commerce, CRM, International, Customer Care, Creative, Data, Analytics, Marketing and Operations. This role is responsible for the end-to-end process of launching and iterating on features and enhancements across our digital channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of the ecommerce digital product roadmap to drive conversion and support cross functional stakeholders in meeting their goals
  • Prioritize the backlog across multiple business and stakeholder needs
  • Work with direct reports to deliver a set of features for each sprint and ensure we’re meeting quarterly milestones
  • Oversee a tech stack portfolio of over 30 partner solutions
  • Guide the team in defining MVP for each feature/enhancement
  • Individually own features including defining business requirements, writing tickets, and conducting UAT
  • Enable adoption of new features by cross functional partners, by ensuring we have a clear understanding of the impact and team have proper resources and training
  • Define a measurement plan and measure the impact of feature enhancements
  • Collaborate with Data, Analytics, and third party partners to ensure all features have proper tracking
  • Leverage quantitative, qualitative, A/B testing, and competitive data to identify new features and enhancements that deliver positive increments to our KPIs
  • Utilize A/B testing to identify incremental value and help guide roadmap/prioritization decisions
  • Monitor and optimize page speed & technical SEO
  • Evangelize page speed across the organization to help others understand how/where they can contribute to performance
  • Ensure new features are SEO optimized and ADA compliant
  • Identify process improvements to ensure maximum efficiency and strong collaboration across all cross functional partners
  • Team management / development
  • Oversee a team of 10 (product, sprint and project management, UX/UI design, front end development) with an ongoing focus on quality, speed, efficiency, and prioritization
  • Consistent and clear feedback / communication on performance and opportunities

Requirements:

  • 10+ years work experience in Digital Product and ecommerce
  • Ownership of product roadmaps balancing objectives such as user engagement and revenue growth through data-driven prioritization.
  • Collaboration with design and engineering partners to plan sprints and make decisions about complex problems.
  • Understanding and appreciation of UX and design principles, including user research/testing, information hierarchy, and common UI.
  • Understanding and appreciation of engineering principles, data models and APIs.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce technology and SAAS solutions at a conceptual level
  • Working understanding of page speed metrics and optimization principles
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Quick decision maker, solutions oriented, multi-tasker, ability to pivot at a moment’s notice
