As an Interconnection Business Process Associate you will oversee the interconnection of new power generation projects to the grid. This role involves generator interconnection project management, coordinating with utilities, tracking and coordinating project milestone requirements, and providing organizational reporting, data, and document management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utility project management and a general working knowledge of grid interconnection Tariffs and business practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and deliver on project milestones and other associated requirements;
  • Create and manage business processes, tools, reports, and communication;
  • Act as a reference on utility interconnection queues, transmission plans, Tariff, and business practice changes;
  • Collaborate with teammates supporting project development, market analysis, and market forecasting;
  • Develop and streamline processes and automation to support data management, processing, and efficient workflows;
  • Other duties as required or assigned.

Key Qualifications:

  • 4 years minimum experience with interconnection Tariffs and queue project management;
  • Bachelor's with additional consideration given to applicants with advanced degrees;
  • Experience in LEAN or a similar project management methodology;
  • Previous experience at an IPP, consultant, or similar desired;
  • Experience in one or more organized electric markets (CAISO, NYISO, PJM, ERCOT)
  • Excellent project management and change management skills.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills with ability to manage cross-functionally and up to ensure project deadlines are achieved;
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to work under tight time requirements and deadlines.

Compensation and Location:

Salary: A base salary commensurate with experience;
Bonus: An annual bonus will be awarded based on individual performance and the overall success of the business;

Location: Austin, TX or Remote (USA). The ability to work in the United States is a requirement;
Travel: 10% Travel.
